Why the cry for being civil in politics? Where was all this kumbaya when the left and their allies in the media were calling President Bush Hitler, Nazi, dunce etc.? Where was all this crossing of the isle for the first two years of President Obama's reign when Republicans were literally locked out of committee meetings? Something you didn't hear on CNN, ABC or CBS. The game plan since the "shellacking" is well contrived. Let all play nice so when the Republicans who were voted in by a majority try to undo some of the harmful policies of this administration look evil, mean-spirited, bigots etc. There should be no love affair, there should be no kumbaya, there should be no getting along. Fact is the Republicans in the house were voted in for one reason: undo harmful policies.
A prime example of how demented some on the left are. When Giffords was shot the demented left wing and media personalities couldn't wait to start the blame game. Unless we find out that the shooter was influenced by those icons –- or saw them, or even knew they existed –- then why drag Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck ino this? I guess it's different when there are pictures of President Bush on t-shirts with cross-hairs on him as I saw on a disgusting looking youth at a mall one day. The sad fact is that some people are just plain nuts. They might go off after seeing a red balloon or reading a recipe on a box of Betty Crocker cake mix. One last thought, Democrats were not outraged over the movie "Death of a President," which was about the assassination -- not of some fictional generic president -- but of President George W. Bush specifically. And were my sensitive liberal friends thrown into a tizzy when in June 2008, during the presidential campaign, candidate Barack Obama said, "If they [Republicans] bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun"?
